Terms & Conditions

All products are supplied by friendlychem on the following terms, and previous dealing won't affect these terms:
  • Quotations
  1. Prices prevailing on the day of order will be charged.
  2. Quoted prices may be revised due to increased costs, prevailing conditions or human error.
  • Delivery
  1. Carriage charge applies.
  2. No liability will be accepted for any loss or damage arising from failure to meet any date of delivery.
  3. Orders may be delivered in installments unless otherwise agreed.  When delivering by installments is specified, each delivery will constitute a separate contract, and the failure of any one or more deliveries shall not repudiate any of these contracts.  Delivery instructions must be given when requested; if not, or if the delivery is refused, a charge for loss or damage may apply.
  • Payment
  1. Payment immediately after the order is required unless an account is set up in writing.  
  2. Accounts must be paid by the 30th of the month following the month of order.  Overdue acounts forfeit the right to normal credit terms and company obligations, and will be charged at 1.5% interest. 
  • Accuracy
All products are supplied within reasonable limits of dimensions.  If special accuracy is required, this must be given in writing.
  • Quantity Variations and Orders Not Received
  1. Written notice is required within 3 days of delivery for quantity variations and within 3 days of expected delivery for non-received orders.
  2. Friendlychem will have the option of replacing or crediting the value of the variation or the order not received.
  • Title
  1. Products ordered are at the risk of the customer as soon as they are delivered.
  2. Such products are the property of Friendlychem until full payment for them has been received.
  • Warranty
Defective products will be replaced on the following conditions:
  1. The fault becomes apparent and reported in writing by 3 months.
  2. The product was being used correctly and for the correct purpose.
  3. No attempt has been made to repair or modify the product.
  4. Friendlychem has been given the opportunity to examine the product.
  • Returns
  1. 10% handling charge will apply for returned goods in perfect condition.
  2. Discontinued items will not be accepted for return.
  • Contingencies
No liability will be accepted for any failure or delay in performance which is due to restriction by Government , civil commotion, strikes, lock-outs, industrial dispute, failure in anticipated supplies of raw materials, fuel or plant, delay on the part of any independent contractor or any other outside cause.  In such circumstances, the delivery time will be reasonably extended.
  • Product Specification
Due to continued improvement, friendlychem reserves the right to alter the specification of any product without notice.
  • Export Sales and the Governing Law
  1. Export Sales have the same terms as sales to the U.K.
  2. The interpretation and performance of these conditions will be governed by the law of England.
